We are the community network connecting people who want to give hands of help in volunteering for education to improve the living standard of local people. We identify the needs and offer our placements for volunteers to join our network and contribute their time to support local communities.
We believe that education is the essential element in improving the quality of life for poor and disadvantaged people, especially the ones in ethnic communities. A better job skill, better knowledge will bring them a better opportunity in careers and life. Therefore, by providing non-formal education with the support of volunteers, we would like create a chance for poor and disadvantaged people, thus reaching the ultimate goal of a sustainable life in their own hands in the future.
We focus on providing informal education for local community especially for poor and disadvantaged people. We train them jobs and provide them with needed knowledge for their lives. We improve the education facilities such as building schools, local centers, and community houses for localities in order to offer a better place and condition for study. We help them in improving their own small businesses and careers by providing them with skills, tools and real support in finding partnerships.
Besides helping local people, we would like to bring a chance for international volunteers to get an insight into Vietnam. Our projects are available throughout the country; we offer a variety of placements for volunteers. By joining in our projects, volunteers will be able to see, and to experience the beauty of nature, friendly people and the folk culture of Vietnam.
Our mission is to promote sustainable lives for disabled and poor people in local communities of Vietnam through providing the international volunteers’ support in education.
Villagers and disadvantaged people are always selected in our projects; we aim to educate and train them in the area of hospitality with the support of international volunteers. Through the daily tasks, the local people will learn new approaches and enhance their skills. Besides that, volunteers will have a chance to immerse themselves in local culture by interacting with people and experiencing life in the community where they work for.
V.E.O is the combination of the passionate and experienced people in the field of community development and social support. The members of V.E.O from the Board to staffs, they are all the people who are dedicated and professional work. V.E.O is the general house for all the staffs who have the same direction, work together with the aim of connecting and building the large volunteer community network to help the community development through global education programs.
